A hydraulic press is a machine used for lifting or compressing large items. Hydraulics are used to increase force which in turn increases the power of a standard mechanical level and provides a constant level of pressure. Peak innovations Engineering uses a hydraulic press for testing purposes. Our testing is performed on a PressMaster Hydraulic Press with a 30 ton (267kN) capacity, Tension, and Compression with flow control. It is fitted with load cell and LVDT for load vs. displacement testing up to 50,000 lb (222kN). The Press Master hydraulic press allows for customization and flexibility, which allows Peak innovations Engineering to have a hydraulic press that is specific to our testing needs, allowing us to provide high quality, accurate test results to our clients.
